We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to input, update, and maintain accurate information in our company databases and systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer databases, files, and forms.
Verify accuracy and completeness of data.
Review data for errors or deficiencies; correct any incompatibilities and check output.
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
Scan and organize physical documents as needed.
Maintain confidentiality and security of company data.
Perform other clerical duties such as filing, organizing records, and administrative support as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position.
Fast typing skills (40+ WPM) with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry software.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
