We run WVExplorer.com, a long-established tourism publication.
We are preparing for a performance-focused rebuild using Gutenberg and a lightweight theme (GeneratePress or similar), but we are currently in a planning phase and cannot fund a full project immediately.
We are looking for a WordPress developer who can:
- Review the current site
- Identify major Core Web Vitals issues
- Recommend a clear approach (optimization vs rebuild)
- Outline a phased plan we can execute
Ideal experience:
- Gutenberg / block-based builds
- Core Web Vitals optimization
- Experience with content-heavy or publishing sites
If there’s a strong fit, this would lead directly to a paid implementation phase once funding is available.
