We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and create engaging video content for various social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp and more.
Job Description:
Position Overview: As a Video Editor at Modern Stage Crafts, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality video content for marketing our products/services across many channels including social media channels. You will be responsible for shooting, editing, and delivering compelling videos that resonate with our audience and align with our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
· Conceptualize, shoot, and edit video content for social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.
· Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging video concepts and storyboards.
· Content will be shot both at the office as well as outside at various locations as per the event venue.
· Owning a professional camera would be an additional factor for the selection criteria of this role.
Video Editing:
· Edit raw footage into polished videos that meet the company’s standards for quality, branding, and messaging.
· Add graphics, effects, subtitles, transitions, and sound to enhance the overall video production.
· Own laptop or desktop with necessary spec is to be brought to office by you and should be used for video editing
Optimization for Social Media:
· Format and optimize videos for different social media platforms, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.
· Stay updated on social media trends and best practices for video content creation.
Project Management:
· Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
· Coordinate with team members to gather input and feedback throughout the editing process.
Technical Proficiency:
· Proficiently use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci, etc.) to produce high-quality videos.
· Stay updated on new tools and techniques in video editing and production.
· Sound knowledge in photo editing software (e.g. Photoshop, etc.) to create posts and thumbnails for the videos.
Quality Assurance:
· Review final video edits for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
· Implement revisions and improvements based on feedback from team members.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing video editing skills.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
Creative vision and storytelling ability, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient knowledge & fluency in English and Tamil.
