Overview

National Debt Relief is seeking an experienced, organized, and creative SEO Content Writer and Editor with a strong understanding of SEO principles and content strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, creating, editing, and optimizing website content to drive organic traffic, enhance customer engagement, and improve search engine rankings. You will work within our fast-paced marketing department and collaborate with internal stakeholders to move content from ideation to publication.

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Write, edit, and publish original content, including webpages, blog posts, and marketing materials, ensuring all content is optimized for SEO.
• Research: Conduct thorough research to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to target audiences.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all content meets guidelines for grammar, style, readability, compliance, and brand voice.
• Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to develop content strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Deadline Management: Manage and meet multiple content deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality outputs.
• Freelancer Coordination: Collaborate with freelancers and agencies to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and content standards are met.
• Opportunity Identification: Identify new content opportunities through keyword research, competitor analysis, and industry trend research.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in SEO performance content writing.
• Content Optimization: Proven experience creating and optimizing content that has driven high-quality organic traffic.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and the ability to navigate multiple systems and platforms.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• SEO Expertise: Deep understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content strategies that enhance organic performance.
• Research Skills: Strong research abilities, especially with complex financial topics.
• Project Management: Excellent project management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Samples Required: Must submit 3-5 writing samples with the application; editing samples are also encouraged.

Compensation

Salary Range:

$70,000 – $84,500
The salary for this position is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
